We're Hiring! Project Manager / Chief of Staff Role

Due to the funds raised from our generous partners and members since we opened membership last September, we’re now looking to make our first hire to accelerate our growth even further!

Project Manager / Chief of Staff (part time)

Why we need you

• As we grow, we have lots of volunteers among the 1000 members on Discord, with many projects, ideas, and desire to contribute

• We want to move faster. As people all have day jobs, your mission is to make it easier for more people to contribute (break down tasks, follow up, etc.)

Core Tasks

• Attend all the Mage-OS meetings:

  • Content Mondays 4pm CET
  • Tech Tuesdays 3pm CET
  • Board Wednesdays 3pm CET

• Drive the agenda, and determine tasks, owners, next steps, and timelines

• Follow up on tasks and commitments to see things through

• Onboard new people, show them around, and find a place for them

• Help with governance (General Assemblies) with the Secretary

Added Responsibilities based on availability

• Project manage legal work relating to the association

• Help manage the budget for each activity with the Treasurer

• Organize events presence (online and physical) to engage and nurture the community

• Explore and pursue potential opportunities for partnership

Must have

• Understanding of the Magento community and ecosystem

• Doer, a sense of responsibility, drive for action

• Fluent in English

• Work in EU and NA timezones

• Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders

• Influential skills (to encourage contributors who are volunteers)

Nice to have

• A good reputation in the Magento community

• Extroverted tendencies

• Polish language is a plus

• Salary range: up to €12,000 per year based on 8-16 hours per week
  Negotiable based on experience and available hours
