Version & Support Policy
Starting with Mage-OS 1.2, we adopted a new versioning strategy that provides clarity and predictability for upgrades.

Support Policy: Only the latest Mage-OS release is supported. Stay up to date to receive security patches and community support.
Current Release: Mage-OS 2.0
Released in late 2025, Mage-OS 2.0 represents our most feature-rich release to date:

2026 Roadmap

Note: Roadmap timing may adjust based on upstream Magento release schedules and community priorities.
Security Patch Schedule
Starting in 2026, Adobe will release security patches on the second Tuesday of each month. Mage-OS commits to publishing corresponding minor releases promptly after each upstream security patch.

Important: As a volunteer-run nonprofit, we support only the latest release branch. Staying current ensures you receive all security updates.

The Mage-OS Lab is our innovation incubator where community members experiment with new features before they graduate to the core distribution.
